| WHO WE ARE... |
The Oakland Sidewinders Fast-pitch Softball Organization
was established in the year 2000 by coaches and parents
who wished to provide girls, ages 8-18, the opportunity to
learn, grow, and compete in fast-pitch softball. A top priority
was to provide a competitive, enriching, and positive lifetime
experience. Today, this organization continues to facilitate
games, practices, special events, and team activities that are
fun, educational, challenging, and memorable for the girls.
Our coaches and parents strive to be models of good
sportsmanship. Yearly, the coaches take time to attend
clinics to improve their leadership and coaching skills.
Ultimately, it is our hope that the girls leave having had the
chance to participate in fast-pitch softball at a highly
competitive level, while gaining skills and experiences that last
a lifetime.
